Mireille’s “Legendairy” Debut

It is certainly no secret that I love yogurt and cheese, but I was still puzzled (why me?) when I got an email from a creative director of an Australian ad agency asking if I would consider doing a 30-second television commercial as part of the “Legendairy” campaign for the Australian dairy industry.  

But I was curious and then tempted.  I could be up for some new stuff.  But I would be in Provence in the summer and I was not going to break away from my summer retreat.  No problem.  They’d come to my home to film for a day or two.  Okay, why not?

And so an easy-going, professional crew came from Australia, added a couple of Frenchies, et voilà. 

I’m not sure I could get used to being referred to as "the talent" but it’s the advertising parlance. As for the Australian crew, a visit to Provence was a first for them, and in a few hours they fell in love with the light, the smell, the colors and anything French, including the local yogurt and cheese. 

It was easy to smile. Life is good. 

What you see is what you get.  No touch ups or fancy makeup.
