Faire les cent pas
Walk a hundred steps -- as in, walk around a bit while you're waiting for a friend. Walking is one of my favorite pastimes.
Faire son marché
To do one's own shopping -- a great way to see what fruits and vegetables are at their peak in the season, and to run into friends.
Fais-toi plaisir
Take your pleasures -- have your diversions. Above all, make sure you enjoy yourself.
Faites simple
Keep it simple. This is my mantra in all things.
