What are you doing today?

Morning, I am lying here in my boudoir, listening to the radio, windows open to let the fresh air in and I was wondering what everyone is doing today. Its a glorious Sunday morning in Surrey (UK) and I am going to spend the day with my husband. We will be meeting a friend for lunch in the afternoon at a local pub, which will be relaxing as I don't have to cook, what a great way to spend the day before the hustle of a Monday morning.

What a fantastic day everyone had

I am new to this forum thing and so had not realised so many people had responded. It sounds as though everyone has had a lovely Sunday. I spent the last Sunday walking through Bath with my sister, her OH, and their dog. We were making the most of the last really sunny day before autumn arrived. This weekend I am looking forward to walking in the park and kicking up the leaves that have fallen from the trees.

Sunny here also

A sunny but windy day in the North of England so a lazy day. A little gardening, a casual lunch, OH is doing some work now and I'm taking the time to catch up with my French sisters. I suppose that in retirement every day is Sunday to a certain extent. C'est la vie.

Lying low today and really slowing down the pace.Plan to tidy my room and read a new mystery by Anne Perry.Listen to music and walk the dogs, once the rain stops.Or do none of that and watch a movie.Have a really fine day everyone.OXO

Sunday

Started with an early morning trip to the supermarket, then back home to clean and prepare lunch. Friends came over for lunch and we decluttered my wardrobe. I intended to go to the gym after they left but that didn't quite happen. Not entirely sure where the time's gone, but I'm feeling very rested and relaxed.

Sunday plans

Today, I will work on my house and yard, and bake some bread, and possibly a banana cake (I have so many bananas!) I love Sundays for puttering around, making things nice. It's my "Weekly Home Blessing". That's not my phrase, I borrowed it from www.flylady.net. It's a website that offers great tips for people who can't seem to keep up with their housework. It's helped me re-focus my energy so much and now I actually have a clean house most of the time. Will wonders never cease? :)

sunday

I'm having a mostly quiet day, my friend Tessa and I went to the store, sat on the lawn and talked, laid in the bed and talked more, drank tea, ate natural cookies....took her home, made fresh salsa from the garden, ate with home made flax chips, now just doing some reading.
