Managing Facebook
I'm looking for some suggestions for dealing with requests from clients (I work freelance as an executive trainer and coach) to be friends on Facebook. Basically, I have nothing compromising on my Facebook page, but what is on there is more for family and friends, especially for the children in my life. I'm already on XING and LinkedIn for business and prefer to connect with clients there. How do I tactfully (don't want to lose the business) get this message across, especially to long-term clients with whom I have built up a solid business relationship over the years?

Networking on Facebook
A lot of professional people I know have two Facebook accounts. One is personal and one is for business. Another option is to increase your privacy settings for clients. Facebook allows you to create lists of "friends". I separated my work friends from my friends and family in a list, and then set the privacy way up for the work friends. They did not have access to my private photos, or my posts, just the barest information on my profile page.Hope this helps.

Thank you
That is useful information and I'll look into that for future requests!
