Happy Bastille Day! To all my french sisters :)
Ok I know it's a little bit late for those of you on the "other side of the pond" but I just wanted to say Happy Bastille Day. I hope everyone had a great day. I celebrated by cooking some escargot for appetizers, complete with a baguette, a salad of watercress and belgian endive with a dijon vinegarette, salmon and french green beans. Of course a glass of bubbly to go along with it. Linda

Wish I'd been dining w you!
Sounds delicious, Linda. We're in the midst of packing and moving, so our celebration consisted of just some brie and bubbly. Next year.miamoki

Brie and bubbly
Always works for me! Sometimes simple is the best! Good luck with the moving and packing. It's quite a chore but you will be happy when it's over!Viva la Diva

Le Tour de France
I celebrated by continuing to watch Le Tour on TV, wishing I was there. There are some spectacular helicoptor views of the French countryside not forgetting the men in lycra!!!
