French Finds in the building parking lot ;)
Forgot to tell you about this charming find....two men, young, fit attractive, were practicing Bike Polo in the parking lot. There is a league here and they play across the street. It looks great fun.But I digress...the ball flew past my head and a voice called out "sorry".I was a little cranky until he started to speak and had the most divine Parisian accent. We chatted about bikes,Bike Polo and he invited me to come and watch the games any time.Very nice.I will go over next time I am free and they are playing.Little young for me but attractive and eye and ear candy.LOL. Le Chardon...
Forgot to mention a beautiful french restaurant we discovered in London in January. In East Dulwich on Lordship Lane is a beautiful french restaurant called Le Chardon. Its in an old green grocers and its just beautiful. They kept the original painted tiles of thistle in shades of green. The food is gorgeous and while the service happens when it wants to (we were sat about 20 minutes before we were approached to make our orders)the food is worth it. Even moreso when you have an equally delicious french waiter serving you.;) Slim, trim, and tall with dark hair, light eyes and a nice smile. I had the corn fed chicken w/leeks and goats chees sauce w/sun dried tomatoes. For dessert I had the lemon tart. It was simply divine. I have listed the website so you can see the menu and start planning a visit. Enjoy!! :) http://www.lechardon.co.uk/jracus

recent french find
I'm not quite sure what you mean by french finds but would discovering a french artist you didtn know existed before count? I was in the National Gallery about a year ago and was stopped in my tracks when I saw what has become my favorite painting in the impressionists section, let alone the entire gallery. I found a portrait painted by Toulouse-Lautrec of a friend and fellow french post impressionist by the name of Emile Bernard. I love this painting sooo much b/c the young man in the portrait resembles my husband when we first met!! After doing some research on him, I found I've become a fan of his artwork and his use of bright bold colors. Not to mention he had very sexy blue eyes and gorgeous chesnut hair worth running your fingers through. And he was french :PKimberly

Reading this thread made me
Reading this thread made me giggle out loud!! But, I have a confession to make - I have been overindulging in Subway subs for the past month. His voice is so smooth, and his accent is VERY French!!!! And here I thought it was my own personal wicked pleasure!! Good to know that there are others out there, too!!MrsKoller

IN my apartment
No Sacha Distel sitting on my sofa when I got home.It is my kitchen.LOL.Now reading The Sweet Life in Paris. He describes his kitchen and I realize I have a Parisian kitchen.Tiny, and unworkable unless deeply determined.Am I?Not likely!Yet,I did get some glimmerings on making it more functional.JeanVintage1944

Jean! You'll never guess!
OMG! I came home from work on Friday and noticed there was a message on the machine! It was the french find! He was calling to see if my hubby wanted to drop by the facilities dept. and have Thanksgiving lunch with the gang. What a voice! I hated to hit the delete button. :(Marilyn

OMG Marilyn!
He has the deepest southern voice. It reminds me of Trace Adkins the country singer...go to youtube and type in Trace Adkins to hear how he sounds. It's deep and throaty and makes you go weak in the knees...he also stands 6 feet tall and is built like ...well...you know....sizzle does not even begin to describe....gotta go now...:)Vintage1944
