Bombshell Weekend Reports!

So, what did you do during your Bombshell Weekend? It could be all out crazy glamour or something as simple as putting red lipstick on just to go to the store. What did you do to feel like a Bombshell?

POSTED: Fri, 01/08/2010 - 10:08pm Bombshell weekend in crispy cold Canada I like this idea :) I have an afternoon date with my husband tomorrow - matinee (seeing Up in the Air with George Clooney) and then we're going out for an early dinner while grandma watches the kids. I will make an extra effort to look smokin' hot for my man tomorrow :) I have some really vampy sparkly charcoal eyeshadow - maybe I'll pair that with a natural, shiny gloss.

Now we are back home and are enjoying a cozy, crackling fire with the kids before we put them to bed....I'm finishing up show notes while husband watches some football :) After the kids go to bed our date night can continue ;) Love your surprise hotel idea!

I spent yesterday cleaning and laundry so today is my me day. I am going to give myself a facial and a pedicure. I enjoy Sunday pampering as it makes me feel good for Monday work. What are you doing today?

POSTED: Sun, 01/10/2010 - 10:43am No problem Looks like today will not be as Bombshelly as I'd like.My sister had her knee surgery and landed in ICU.Low Blood Pressure and high Blood Sugar.She will be ok.But Iam thinking I'd better go to L.A.So today,I am worrying.Useless activity but c'est la vie.OXO Jean

Anyway, yesterday, I ventured out for a tiny walk, while doing my Leeks Detox Weekend, and (here it comes...) wrapped my head and neck in a big warm scarf, very a la french! I am enjoying ALL of your posts!

Rosslyn Abbey was magnificent despite the scaffolding. It is having extensive conservation as the weather has done mch damage, but still is beautiful. We arrived home early this evening so I have not had much time to catch up with you all. As I am gradually getting sleepier I will save the posts until tomorrow. Sleep tight all of you. Marilyn

POSTED: Sun, 12/13/2009 - 6:36pm I cannot abide tinned soups anymore. I love making my own and the roasted tomato is a fave. We had it and toasted tuscan garlic loaf drizzled with olive oil and sharp cheddar cheese for dinner. This week should be pretty decent and Friday is a two hour early release day. I decided that laundry could wait until midweek. I have to maintain the house and it looks like the family day will be Wed. 23rd. Are you feeling any better? Here's a hug! Deborah

This weekend is a Bombshell Weekend for all who wish to join in the fun.We can do Mystery Bombshell or simply reveal our identity and pamper ourselves a la Bombshell Manifesto My weekend will start Thursday a.m.when I go visit my friends at the Clarins counter for a makeover.Then I have to appear on "the set" for eight hours.Friday,it is off to Montreal,always a Bombshell experience.I will be off line and will report back Sunday night. POSTED: Wed, 12/09/2009 - 1:29pm Bombshell Weekend Manifesto Sounds Fun....What is It??? LOL I'm in, now what do we do??? Maybe this weekend.... Speaking of makeovers, it's very fun, as most cosmetic counters will do a free makeover...and of course we all end up buying something. I am going for a pedicure today......and pulling out all my warm sweaters and getting my boots organized.....for this cold weather.....which I love!!!! I love doing little things that make me feel feminine......Its awesome being a woman isn't it? I think so. I love dressing feminine too....whatever I wear like some nice trousers with a blazer, I love to add a feminine touch. I've been called a "princess" before from my friends. Don't know if this is a positive or a negative???? Regards to all today.....hope your day is a beautiful one...YES, we are all bombshells~~ Wouldn't it be fun if we all could meet in Paris for a few days and stay at the same hotel???
