Bombshell Weekend Reports!

So, what did you do during your Bombshell Weekend? It could be all out crazy glamour or something as simple as putting red lipstick on just to go to the store. What did you do to feel like a Bombshell?

Preparing for a bombshell weekend...

Tomorrow is the farmers market ~ so with 'Spring' firmly in my step, I shall make an extra special effort. A little rouge on the pout, a pair of mysterious sunglasses, a French boatneck top, vintage woven basket, a waft of parfum and a dose of ooh-la-la! Watch out farmers :) Ava x

Hope you ladies (and gents, should you so feel inclined), have a splendid bombshell weekend!

I'm with you, Jean

...although my reasons are a little more celebratory. I finally updated my resume properly with some help from one of DH's friends and will be applying with some temp agencies later today. Fingers crossed.

I am going to need all the bombshell energy I can muster to make the best impression I can. Anna

Here's what I did..

I am originally from London but have been living in Toronto, Canada for a few years (it's so not me, I have to move back to Europe!! ;( Anyway, being a European lady I enjoy dressing mindfully each day, and I don't feel comfortable to wear sneakers to go shopping etc, it's very North American by the way, in most parts. On the past weekend I went to the grocery store with my red lipstick, sunglasses and my signature scent veiling me. I enjoyed the looks I received and the help from the grocery store guys, even though I really didn't need them to take my bags to my car! I laughed and I loved it, just as my username implies, and I try to love and laugh each day.

hello my bombshell

I'm not good at guessing yours...but what I did this weekend, what hosted and cooked for a lovely dinner party. It went well, better than expected. I felt calm, relaxed, happy and elegant. I wore all black (my pants even felt loose) the meal went well, the conversation and laughter delightful. Today I haven't figured out yet.

Today

A trip to the theatre (a matinee) to see 'Enjoy' a dark comedy by Alan Bennett, need to really think about this.

Back home by 18.45 to catch the end of Scotland v England in the 6 Nations Rugby. OH cooked as tomorrow is Mothering Sunday here in UK and he is playing golf a.m. DD was coming home but had to work today as she has a new pharmacy opening next week and had things to sort (she works for Alliance/Boots).

Now very replete and enjoying the end of my share of a bottle of red wine.

Bombshell clue: I am me yet not.
