Bombshell Weekend Reports!
So, what did you do during your Bombshell Weekend? It could be all out crazy glamour or something as simple as putting red lipstick on just to go to the store. What did you do to feel like a Bombshell?

Wow, my first
bombshell weekend was nice - and a little "work". I'd forgotten the effort it takes, but it is worth it. For example, because I'd painted my nails, I dug out the gloves for cleaning the shower tile. And when I was house cleaning/etc I decided to cleanse/moisturize my skin first, even though I wasn't planning to wear makeup. (I ended up putting on a dab anyway - not what I normally do when staying in the house.) And instead of wearing sloppy clothes, I picked a nice t-shirt and shorts. I liked the result and I'll see if it can become more second-nature. HOW DID YOURS GO?snorklee

As luck would have it...
I signed up for a massage event weeks ago with girls from work... and it's this weekend! I totally forgot about it. So, I will be enjoying lunch with the girls and a massage tomorrow before work. Perfect for bombshell weekend. Now if I can just fit a much-needed pedicure in on Sunday, my life will be complete. Lol.Sheri

You go nurse Jean,
Sip your coffee on the deck and take in the sounds and sights of Nature. We can't control what happens during our shifts, but we can sit quietly for a few(unpaid)minutes and enjoy something sumptuous and delish! You deserve that time off!!xoxoNaja

No time to pick a bombshell...
DH is out of town for the weekend, eldest son and daughter had an air cadet function today, and I've been run off my feet for the last two days, but I did manage to steal a moment to put on mascara and red lipstick, put a quick coat of hot mauve on my fingers, and and dress up in a cute apple-green argyle sweater, my zipper test trousers (the waist is tight, but I could do them up), and spectator flats. I also had a moment to put my hair in a French braid instead of my usual ponytail.I have a date with a tub full of hot water (sans bubbles, alas) later this evening. I also plan to finish the manicure properly and put matching polish on the toes. I would be looking forward to a good night's sleep, but I have to pick eldest son up at 2 am from a cadet dance in Vancouver.
So, this weekend, my bombshell is... moi!

I just couldn't decide...
between Audrey Hepburn and Miss Piggy... This weekend, am I classically polished, or maniacally fabulous? A bit of both, I fear.JSB

Standing up...
I agree, Jeanie. '44 was a very good year. If we don't, who will? Society focuses on youth, but we can shift the focus by being our incredible selves, as soignee as we wanna be. :)JSB
