AROMATHERAPY
Today's daily pleasure is that I filled my electric oil burner with hot water from the kettle, and added 8 drops of "Relaxation" pure essential oil. Now my home smells like a day spa and I feel relaxed and a bit more pampered! twitter.com@marmarou

Getting cold...
Its only in the low 40s here today, time to put on sweaters, and maybe a jacket... I like to see the colors of the leaves and smell the aroma of spices, such as pumpkin,cinnamen,apples,pears... This weekend were taking our grand children to a pumpkin farm to go on a hay ride to the fields to pick out there pumpkins, then we have warm apple cider, and come home to carve out the faces on the pumpkins, so much fun,and lots of memories for the and us!!! After all that,i love to sink into my tub with lavender oils and sooth myself before bedtime! Brenjas

The chill of fall
is starting to arrive. I have a large basket of apples on the table to eat (as well as admire their beautiful color & sweet/tangy aroma)and have begun to simmer a spice mixture on the stove when I'm in the kitchen. It wafts throughout the house and smells like I'm baking buns or pie!Marilyn

Fall/Autumn
The same here, Meems. The leaves are turning colour, there is now a chill in the air and the winter woollies are being brought out of storage. This weekend is the time to make soups and chutney with the gift of pears from my neighbour.Meems

Pears
make a wonderful chutney. My mom loved to make spiced pears, can them and then enjoy them as a bright addition to holiday meals. (She'd color them red like spiced apples). Being in the kitchen is quite relaxing for me. :)Robbyn

Indian Summer?
I'm not really sure any more! Yes, it's been in the 40's but today it's sunny & 70-ish! I do agree that soup is perfect for just about any season.jas

I love this
yum. There is so much power in scent. I have a lot of essential oils, sometime I am going to really know them and their power.
